A No-Kill Nation:
My Mission, Your Mission,
Mazie's Mission
"Ginger"
I am about a 1 year old Pointer. I was
found as a stray with Fred, the special
needs pet with Demodex mange. I
have obviously had at least one litter. I
am so smart it is a little scary. I would
like it best if I could go to a home with
my boyfriend, Fred. We do very well
together and have been through a lot.
We would make fantastic hunting dogs
and would love to live on some land. I
am very sweet and like to be next to
you at all times for pettings.
"Cleveland"
I was rescued from Death Row at Collin
County Animal Services. I am about a
1 year old neutered, male orange
tabby. I am very shy at first, but once I
get to know you, watch out! I am a
huge lovebug!!

"Ty"
I am a beautiful Pit Bull that
desperately wants a home. I was
found wandering the streets of
McKinney and my history is fuzzy. I
would do best in a home with no
other pets, but would tolerate a
submissive female. I LOVE my
people and want to concentrate on
them only! I don't like cats or
dominant males in the house. I am
fantastic with kids and actually
protective of them. I would make a
great pet for a family.
"Penelope"
My story of courage will amaze you. I
was left on the side of the road to die
after someone hit me with their car. I
was found and taken to a vet clinic
where Mazie's Mission took over my
care. Everyone said to euthanize me
but they refused. Both of my back legs
were broken and I could not walk. I had
extensive orthopedic surgery
performed and have healed great. I
never showed any doubt that I would
get better or gave my caretakers any
grief-I was extremely brave during the
whole thing. I have to be treated for
heartworms as soon as my bones have
totally healed, but that will be child's
play after what I have been through! I
do fantastic with cats, dogs, and
children. I should be ready for
adoption in 2 months, but you can
meet me anytime!
"Isabella Ruffellini"
I was found wandering the streets in
McKinney and picked up by Animal
Control. I was saved from
euthanasia by Mazie's and am now
waiting for my forever home. I do
well with other dogs and cats-but
will chase a cat if they let me! I am
featured in a video on You
Tube-you can see my
transformation at

"Chloe"
Hi! My name is Chloe and I was
scheduled for euthanasia at the
shelter. My owner had dropped me off
knowing that I was probably going to
be euthanized. We have no idea why I
was given up since I am a perfect lady
and housetrained. I get along with
other dogs very well-not real sure how
I would do with cats!
